How to pay Visa Application Charges
Credit Card Payments
All applicants, regardless of where they live, can pay Visa Application Charges by credit card (Mastercard and Visa). If you wish to pay by this method, please complete an authorisation and lodge it with your completed application.
Residents of Greece:
Visa application charges can be paid in cash in EURO personally at the counter or by bank cheque made payable to the Australian Embassy, Athens and drawn on a Greek bank.
Residents of Albania or Bulgaria:
Applicants should obtain a bank cheque in EURO. The bank cheque should be payable to the Australian Embassy, Athens, Greece and drawn on a bank whose head office is situated in Athens.
NOTE:
Cash sent by mail is NOT acceptable.
Visa application charges can also be paid at any office of the Department of Immigration and Citizenship in Australia. The original receipt (and duplicate) must then be attached to applications which will be lodged at the Australian Embassy, Athens.
Visa application charges are for processing applications and are NOT refundable regardless of the outcome of the application.
The Australian Government reserves the right to vary charges at any time without notice.
